Kate trained at Dawson Cornwell and was admitted as a solicitor in 1998. She is also a trained collaborative lawyer.
She advises on all areas of family law particularly financial settlements, children disputes and cohabitation.
Kate is a member of the International Bar Association, the Contact Working Party of Resolution and the No Fault Divorce Group of Resolution.
She is the author of a Scottish Office study on the role of solicitor advocates published by the Central Research Unit.
