Partner
Jeremy qualified as a solicitor in 1983 and has worked in the West End or the City since 1986, joining Dawson Cornwell as a partner in 2011.
Jeremy is experienced in most areas of family law, whether as a lawyer or mediator. Most frequently he is asked to deal with financial questions or issues of child residence and contact, often for the wealthy or those with international backgrounds. He is a member of Resolution and a mediator accredited by the Family Mediators Association (of which he is a former Chair) and Resolution.
Jeremy has also continued his litigation practice, latterly specialising in contentious trusts and probate disputes in a family or commercial context, acting for individuals, charities and trust corporations. Jeremy is a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He admits to a passing knowledge of canon law.
As a result of his interest in issues of mental capacity and disability Jeremy also acts as a Court of Protection Deputy in complex financial cases and is a trustee of several private trusts.
