Elizabeth McGowan
Second year trainee solicitor
Elizabeth joined Dawson Cornwell in September 2010 as a trainee solicitor. She obtained her LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Nottingham and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law with Distinction.
Prior to joining Dawson Cornwell, Elizabeth worked in a City firm specialising in fraud and commercial litigation, working on numerous complex litigation cases, most notably securing a £425 million freezing order against a Russian State controlled oil company. Elizabeth also volunteered with the Citizens Advice Bureau and continues to support Girlguiding UK as a unit leader.
Elizabeth speaks intermediate Mandarin.
